Job Description: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating and treating children (and/or adults) with diverse needs, guiding them toward greater independence in their daily lives. This role involves close collaboration with other professionals, schools, and community stakeholders to provide holistic care and drive positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment & Evaluation

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify sensory, motor, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.

    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client-specific goals.

  2. Therapy Implementation

    • Provide evidence-based interventions to enhance daily living skills, fine and gross motor coordination, sensory integration, and functional independence.

    • Adapt activities and environments to meet the unique needs of each client.

  3. Collaboration & Consultation

    • Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., special educators, speech therapists, psychologists) to ensure a cohesive approach.

    • Offer guidance on at-home strategies and recommend necessary modifications in school or community settings.

  4. Documentation & Progress Tracking

    • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress updates.

    • Adjust intervention plans as needed based on ongoing evaluation and client response.

  5. Professional Development

    • Stay current with best practices, research, and continuing education in occupational therapy and related fields.

    • Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Professional licensure in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility for licensure).

  • Experience working with children or adults with special needs is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.


    Compensation & Schedule:

    • Compensation is session-based, with rates to be determined based on qualifications and experience.

    • Flexible scheduling will be arranged according to client needs and therapist availability.
